As children of God, we must look for truth in what the scriptures teach us on the true understanding of baptism. The first question you should ask yourself is: “how important is baptism?” In John Jesus explains this to Nicodemus. There is only one baptism, and the apostle Paul tells us this in his letter to the Ephesians in chapter four verse five:
